"We think he [Pat Parker] favors your Dad [David Frederick Parker] so much -- his hair was the same and he talked like your Dad. He [Pat Parker] was so kind, and had so many stories to tell us about his Uncle Fred and Aunt Tena. He said he had rather stay with them than stay at his home. He said that he was about 10 years old and he brother Mike was about 8 years old when Uncle Fred got married. He said they hid out in the hills and waited for them to come home after they got married - then they went home with them and spent the night with them. He had lots to tell about things that happened when he lived in Novice. He said he loved your mother and daddy so much. He said Tena was beautiful, and she was one of the most wonderful ladies he had ever known."
