Johnny Wayne Archer

COLEMAN — Johnny Wayne Archer, 71, of Novice died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, at an Abilene hospital.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Walker Funeral Home Chapel. The body was cremated.

Mr. Archer was born in Littlefield and lived in Ballinger from 1969-1977 before moving to Novice. He was a truck driver, a Baptist and a veteran of World War II. He married Opal Inez Bates in 1959 in Novice.

Survivors include his wife, of Novice; and three brothers, Lee Archer of Robert Lee, James Archer of Odessa and don Archer of California.
