I do mean friends, because you see, I really experienced what real
friends mean this past year. We lost a dedicated supporter for the
Atoka Cemetery Association in the passing of Jack Shields. He loved
these meetings and looked forward to seeing all of you at the
meetings. Keep supporting this work. I am happy to report the
historical marker for the cemetery you voted for, is in the process of
being approved by the State of Texas. Jack got too sick before he
could accomplish this project, bit I have continued to complete it. By
the meeting in 1996, we hope to have a dedication program and the
market erected. It takes 6 to 10 months to get all the paper work
involved approved...
